On December 8, 2014, TriMas Corporation announced its plan for a tax-free spin-off of 100% of its Cequent businesses into a new stand-alone, publicly traded
company, Horizon Global Corporation. Upon completion of the spin-off, Horizon will be publicly traded on the NYSE under the symbol HZN. The transaction was
completed mid-2015.
With a disciplined approach to investment and capital allocation, we have laid the foundation for ongoing, substantial growth. Our accelerated, organic growth
initiatives focus on product innovation, market penetration and geographic expansion and are supplemented by selective bolt-on acquisitions in growing markets.
